The tentative agreement with the AGC passed.
We now have a new contract with them that includes a 40¢ per hour raise going to Health & Welfare, a 40¢ per hour raise going to (non-acruing) Pension, and 5¢ per hour raise going to Training. The Private Works Agreement was also raised to $5 million, so any job up to that amount would be eligible for the 85% pay scale.

The officers, trustees, and staff of Local 1715 are pleased to announce that we can now help Local 1715 members who have had trouble finding work in this bad economy and thus need a little help putting food on the table.

Food boxes are available for weekly pick-up at our office. Each box contains an assortment of staples and fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats. Contents change weekly depending on availability of products.

Currently we can offer 15 boxes per week and they are available on a first come, first serve basis. Call the office by noon on Tuesday of each week to request one for pickup on Wednesday. Contact the office if you have any questions.
